Collection: John Wetton

John Wetton is a man who needs no introduction. Where many musicians dream of playing in a world famous band someday, John has been fortunate enough to have played in several.

After leaving Family he joined the incarnation of King Crimson that is seen by many as the classic line-up: together with Robert Fripp, David Cross and Bill Bruford, Wetton recorded such timeless albums as Larks Tongues in Aspic and Red.

After departing the Crims he recorded alongside Bryan Ferry and Brian Eno in Roxy Music and later formed UK, the first progressive rock supergroup. A concept he revived in 1980 when he, together with Carl Palmer, Steve Howe and Geoff Downes formed Asia.

Five albums were recorded, millions sold, the world was toured and ever since Wetton collaborated with every musician he wanted to – the illustrous spectrum reaching from Beatle Ringo Starr to David Cassidy of The Partridge Family.

GEP signed John in 1999 and released three solo albums: Nomansland, Sinister and Rock of Faith.
