Collection: Renaissance

In 2001 GEP were delighted to sign the classic british progressive band Renaissance, who's roots go way back to the late sixities when Keith Relf, Paul Samwell-Smith and Jim McCarthy formed the band from the ashes of the Yardbirds.

Line-up-changes were notorious - at one point, two bands under the name of Renaissance recorded albums.

'Tuscany', the first release on GEP was recorded by the Annie Haslam and Michael Dunford lineup and features some of the finest music Renaissance wrote.

It was followed by the collection In the Land of the Rising Sun which contained Renaissance's Number 10 hit single, Northern Lights.
